Facebook’s Business Manager is kind of like your toolbox. It essentially ‘holds’ your assets inside, like your Ad Account, Business Page, and Pixel. You can give people access to particular assets, or to the entire Business Manager. Creating this setup and organization is the first step.
Do I have a Business Manager?
Go to business.facebook.com and you’ll see it there. If you see nothing but a blue “create account” button in the top right corner, then you need to set one up. Click that button and follow the instructions.
Do I have an Ad Account?
You’ll also need to create an ad account: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/910137316041095?id=420299598837059
Don’t forget to add a payment method to this account as well.
Your Facebook Page
And either create or add your FB page: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/720478807965744?id=420299598837059
Giving Access
Simply go to business.facebook.com > business settings > users > people > +add, and enter the email of the person you’d like to add. More on that here: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/2169003770027706?id=2190812977867143
Adding a Partner
This is basically allowing access of your assets to another business manager entity (typically a marketing agency), more on that is here: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/695463587559330?id=2190812977867143
